DEFEND
THE BLOCK.
STACK YOUR DRIP.
BEAT THE INDUSTRY PLANT.

A 90s hip-hop top-down roguelike survivor. You're an MC dropped into a procedurally generated NYC back-alley. Wack posers, shield cops, B-boy snipers, and a rooftop helicopter come at you in waves — for fifteen minutes, until the corporate Industry Plant shows up for the three-phase finale.

A 15-MINUTE
MIXTAPE
IN ROGUELIKE FORM.

Vampire Survivors' build-craft. Brotato's tight run length. Jet Set Radio's rebellion. Streets of Rage's swagger. Auto-firing weapons, drafted perks, evolutions that rewrite your kit, and a meta-currency (Stacks) that carries across runs.

01

The Block

12 procedurally-arranged NYC back-alley rooms, Wang-tiled at night. Neon, graffiti, spray-paint puddles, the low hum of a helicopter one rooftop away. Every run lays the city out different.

02

The Loop

Weapons auto-fire. Every level-up you draft 1 of 3 perk cards — stat, weapon, or evolution. Max two weapons, combine them, break the game. Run cash buys chests for stats + drip. Die or survive, you bank Stacks.

03

The Finale

Minute 14:00. The Industry Plant rolls up. Three phases, 42,000 HP, radial volleys, waves of reinforcements. Beat him, beat the industry. Lose, spend Stacks, run it back stronger.

THE
QUESTIONS.

Answers to the stuff that shows up in every Reddit thread, Discord DM, and press email.

Q01 When's it out?
No hard date yet. We're on v0.25.0 of the Godot 4.6 build, shipping regularly to testers. Wishlist on Steam to hear the moment we lock a launch window.
Q02 What platforms?
PC (Windows x86_64 + macOS universal binary) at launch. Linux is template-ready, no preset wired yet. iOS / Android are planned post-launch — the platform abstraction layer (ADR-012/013) is already in.
Q03 How long is a run?
Fifteen minutes of waves, then a three-phase Industry Plant boss at minute 14:00. Win or die, you're back at the Block to spend Stacks (meta currency) on permanent upgrades and build the next run.
Q04 Is there multiplayer?
Not at launch. Today we run async multiplayer via global + daily-run leaderboards — see /leaderboards for what's live. Beef challenges (shared-seed, same-build gauntlets) are on the post-launch roadmap.
Q05 How do you keep leaderboards honest?
Every run is submitted with an HMAC-signed payload tied to the player's session. Server-side sanity bounds flag impossible stats, rate-limits cap submissions (30/hr, 20/24h on daily boards), and only runs where hmac_ok=true and flags are empty count for the top charts. Flagged runs are kept but shown with a warning chip — transparency over cover-up.
Q06 Are there microtransactions?
No. One price, whole game. Drip is earned by playing, not swiped.
Q07 Is this a Vampire Survivors clone?
It shares the auto-attack horde-survivor DNA. But the run length, build-craft via perk-card drafts, and the drip-as-identity layer are all our own. If you liked VS or Brotato, you'll feel at home — and then you'll notice the block.
Q08 Who's making it?
A small team using Claude Code Game Studios' multi-agent architecture — 48 specialist Claude Code subagents coordinated by a human core. Experimental pipeline, production game.
